Erika Suárez
Chef Erika has formed her career with over 15 years of experience working in the US as well as internationally. Suárez was the first female to ever be appointed the Executive Chef position at Norwegian Cruise Line, where she later moved up to the corporate level and managed eight to ten vessels and their entire culinary teams. In addition, Suárez became the appointed liaison between Norwegian Cruise Line and their Celebrity Chef program, where she lead and developed new restaurant concepts with some of Americas Iron Chefs such as Geoffrey Zakarian, Buddy Valastro, and Jose Garces.
Additional experience in the hospitality industry includes roles as Executive Sous Chef at Miami Beach Resort & Spa and Banquet Chef at the Riverside Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. With her experience in high-end gastronomy, Chef Suárez was also a part of the Waldorf Astoria brand where she became the first ever female to be Executive Chef for their unique resort in Puerto Rico, the world-renowned El Conquistador Resort and Spa.
